Of Mice and Men

this is my Of Mice and Men book cover/play program cover. I wanted a sketched look to it and i didn't want to use a lot of outside sources. I got the men working from searching "depression era workers." I added a hue saturation over the image for a worn out look. Yeah :P

Fine Arts Festival Flier

This was my entry for The Albemarle County Public Schools Fine Arts Festival flier.

I made this name plate thing from scratch. I was inspired by the Rugrats. I had an aqua color background and then made stripes out of different colors and i added multiple textures to get the uneven stained glass effect. I used the shape creator to make the multiple shapes in there.

James Sun Memorial 5K

For this flier, I formed the logo from a sun image and the WAHS. I used a sun to represent James. I added some glow around it and some outline to make it more prominent. I used the information given and I used a star wars type font because James was a a fan of Star Wars. I added more glow to the title so it wouldn't look as bland.

Midterm- Paramount Theater

For this project, we were given the assignment "250 years of Charlottesville." My first thought of what i could do would be part of the Downtown Mall. What I did with this image was I put a selective color adjustment on it and made it look kinda old. I also added a gradient overlay to it so that it was darkened around the edges. I added a few filters on top of that and voila. Finished.

Designs On Paper

This is a Christmas card. I made it with red and green stripes. The green reminds me of the decorations put up during Christmas. You would insert a photo in the middle and send it to others. Yeah.

Tron Effect

I decided to do this because i really like how it looks. :P I made it using a tutorial on photoshopuser.com
